La tortilla de patatas es uno de los platos más típicos de la gastronomía española. Y aunque su preparación parece sencilla, siempre hay un eterno debate sobre si debe llevar cebolla o no.
En este artículo te enseñaremos nuestra receta para hacer una deliciosa tortilla de patatas sin cebolla y te contaremos los trucos para conseguir que quede perfecta.
Ingredientes:
🥚 5-6 huevos 🥔 500 gr. de patatas 🫒 Aceite de oliva virgen extra 🧂 Sal
Truco: Saca los huevos de la nevera. La tortilla saldrá mejor si están a temperatura ambiente.
Pelamos las patatas y las cortamos finas y, apróximadamente, del mismo tamaño. Ponemos abundante aceite en una sartén grande y sin estar demasiado caliente añadimos las patatas.
Truco: Impregna bien todas las patatas con el aceite. Muévelas un poco para que todas estén empapadas. Si el aceite no está muy caliente se irán confitando poco a poco.
Fríe a fuego medio. Cuando puedas partirlas sin dificultad, sube el fuego y mantenlo un par de minutos. Así obtendremos un toque crujiente, pero cuidado no se quemen.
Mientras se hacen las patatas, bate los huevos y reserva en un bol grande.
Cuando las patas estén listas, escurre el aceite y junta con los huevos batidos. Remueve con un tenedor y ponle sal.
En una sartén pones a calentar un poco de aceite y cuajas la tortilla 2-3 minutos por cada lado (depende de si te gusta más o menos cuajada).
Truco: cuidado al darle la vuelta a la tortilla- Utiliza una tapa plana grande, un plato llano o una sartén doble.
